Non-comp. Cheer Classes

This class is great for anyone who wants to learn how to become a better cheerleader! In this class, your child will learn basic tumbling, motion technique, kicks, dance routines, cheers/sidelines, and stunt progressions. This class is great for the beginner or someone who wants to perfect their skills.

Children are introduced to the basics of cheerleading. Students are taught skills such as, basic motion technique, tumbling, jumps, kicks, stunting progressions, and dance. This class is a fun way to get your child interested in cheerleading in an environment where they can interact with other children at the same time. This class is ideal for beginners or those who wish not to be on the competitive teams.

Allstar Teams: There are different age levels, broken down as follows:

Competition All-Star Teams

This squad is a traveling competition team that competes at the Regional level. These teams are made up of hard-working, dedicated kids who are team-players! There are four different teams. Mini (4-8) Youth (8-11) Junior (11-14) Senior (15-18). This program is for anyone ready for fun, excitement and a challenge!!

Tumbling Classes

These classes are broken up according to age and ability levels. We follow strict guidelines set forth by USASF Levels 1-5 and our classes follow this curriculum.

Squad Tumbling/Squad Privates

These classes are private for squads only. During these sessions, each team will be designated to a Cheer Zone staffer and will work on whatever the squad wishes to. This is great for any squad, beginner to elite! $45.00/per participant

Private Lessons

These sessions are intense and private for students only. You must reserve your time in advance. If you are looking to perfect that certain skill, then a private lesson would be for you!! 45.00/Hour or 35.00/hour if you book a series of 5 private lessons.

Choreography

Cheer Zone Athletics offers a full range of choreography from Camp Homepoms to National Routines. Call for availability and prices.

Stunt Clinics

This clinic is great for teams/squads who want to work on their stunting technique and execution. These clinics can be tailored to your teams needs. Call for availability and prices.

Tryout 101

These classes start around the first of the year and continue until early spring. This class is unique for the fact that Cheer Zone actually teaches you how to have a successful tryout for your school team. We teach tumbling intros and perfect you individually on your skills before you tryout. This class is great for everyone!!

Open Stunt Night

This class is one night a week and is open to anyone. You need not be a registered student at Cheer Zone. In this class, girls and guys will learn how to coed stunt and also all-girl partner stunt with people from all over South Mississippi. This is a great experience for those trying out for college teams. (9-12th only)

Mini Camps

This is a session Cheer Zone offers during some major holidays such as summer, Christmas break, etc. Call for availability and prices.

Birthday Parties

Cheer Zone offers birthday parties on site. Our brand new state of the art facility is a wonderful place to hold your childs next birthday. At Cheer Zone, we offer a spacious private party room and also an hour with an instructor for games, and instruction. Parties last for two hours. Call for more information. Space is limited.

Tanning

Cheer Zone offers 4 brand new tanning beds with 32 bulbs. We carry all major brands of tanning lotions.  Call for prices.
